The Green Chamber of the South is really impressive

I know I sound like a big promo machine. Part of that is the fact that, yes, I’m in p.r. But I’m promoting the worthy stuff, remember. And also, there’s the “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it” mantra, which I overheard our wonderful security officer advising his niece on the cell phone in the elevator. At any rate, the Green Chamber of the South had a networking event last night at Zaya, and it was one of the best networking parties I’ve ever attended. No paltry showing of folks eyeing each other over their drinks. This was a full-on packed house — claustrophobic at times, in fact — and there was lots of quality shmoozing to be done. I think I may have to become a member. www.greencs.org I should add that my friend, Blair Rothstein, played a leading role in starting up the ir monthly “Green Wednesdays” lunch — a true grassroots movement, no green pun intended.
